Overview
The sales representative will focus on developing business into their given territory for all the company’s services and products. The market focus is HVAC, electrical and construction.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Promote, sell secure from existing and prospective customers
- Establish , develop , and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization
- Analyze the territory / market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization
- Promote customer service contract for existing and potential customer’s
- Research and report marketplace and competitive information for sales strategy planning and review
- Develop sales strategies , objectives and forecasts with your manager/owner
- Find and follow major sales and expansion opportunities
- Gain complete information for all quotation requisitions including specification, pricing and deadlines
- Collaborates with management in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals
- Maintains an accurate sales log with all pertinent information for reporting purposes
- Participate in weekly workgroup meetings and strive for continuous improvement in your work
- Report activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested.
Work Conditions
- Office environment with many distractions
- Field work , exposure to dirty and dusty environments
Required Knowledge & Awareness of Following Tasks
- HVAC, electrical, construction and knowledge of industry products and services
- Construction jobs/plans in the works
- VALE/GLENCORE/MINING sector familiarity
- Business goals and objectives pertinent to sales market
