ABOUT THE ROLE

The Licensed Electrician supports PSL operations by monitoring, improving and repairing all electrical field services. Work collaboratively in the field with the team to deliver quality customer service outcomes, in line with the company’s vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing, constructing and maintaining electrical systems within a Commercial/Industrial setting
  • Follow ESA standards.
  • Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems
  • Follow electrical blueprints and schematics
  • Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid 309A electrical trade license
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, drawings and documents
  • Ability to lead a crew of up to 5 people
  • Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates ability to work as part of the team

Working Conditions / Location

  • Outdoors in 4 seasons – exposure to extreme temps
  • Dusty, hot indoor industrial environments
  • Industrial process areas – noise conditions
  • Process areas with various fumes
  • Areas of volatile substances - nickel carbonyl, CO, SO2, nickel dust
  • Working at heights
  • Office environment
  • Travel long distances / consecutive hours of driving
  • Working/callouts throughout nighttime hours - service/emergency issues
